@PreApproved1 the plants are green. Green light doesn't disturb them because they can't absorb the frequencies of light that appear green in the human visual spectrum. As for the use of incandescent over fluorescent, fluorescent bulbs produce ultraviolet photons (these aren't part of the human visible light spectrum, but plants do absorb them) while incandescent bulbs do not.

The green lights won't disturb the plants and lets the grower move about the room while the grow lights are off.
