It seams that your motherboard do not supprot this CPU (it needs to support CPU up to 140W).Check your motherboard manual

@stok3d99 but why is that when i check my bench mark like what he did here in 1:22, i still got the same result? 800mhz. did he changed the power setting? thanks for your help.

@MyNameIsMikko Dude that's totally normal,u have a athlon II x2 and it goes down to 800mhz for 2.8ghz all the time when it isnt being utilized.

i have had one of these since mid 2010 and it is a BEAST for the money. overclocks like a dream, and will run almost anything maxed with the paired 6950 frozr 3

it's only running at 800 because of windows 7 power settings..when the cpu isn't being used extensively, windows clocks it down..you can turn that setting off, though. you can also turn off cool 'n quiet too.

-guys, can someone help me? my phenom is running only at 800mhz and i dont know why. i already tried turning off the cool n quiet mode and i already updated my bios but its still like that. my mobo is Asrock N68-S UCC. ill appreciate any help..
