If both teams were just playing to play it, and goals points wouldn't matter. Then who would be scoring points? Or who would even be playing the game to begin with? Sports require both teams to reach out for winning in order to be enjoyable to anyone. If you enjoy kicking a ball, you can do it yourself on your backyard.

@IceyFlame500 I believe (correct me if Im wrong) that he decided to go for the win, instead of kicking the field goal and just tying it. So I believe that asked why didnt you just tie it. I do not believe he was making a statement about how nfl isnt about having fun. I am not sure though.
