Rise and Fall is a murder-mystery visual novel game with heavy accents of fantasy. It's the first in four planned games that'll be made to tell the entire story. This game contains a cast of 27 UTAU characters, but as we continue through the other games, the cast size will grow to about 40-50 UTAU characters.

While Rise and Fall uses UTAU characters as the cast, you do not have to know anything about UTAU to play and experience Rise and Fall-- the story, setting, relationships, and personalities are of original creation. Both UTAU users and non-UTAU users should be able to follow Rise and Fall just fine.

Technical facts:
★ The physical production time was about 3 months (August - November), but Rise and Fall began as a fanfiction in June.
★ Rise and Fall CH1 is 6 hours of gameplay.
★ The file size is about 700MB.
★ Many resources are borrowed. The BGM is borrowed from other games/series/NG artists (with the appropriate credit given of course), and the backgrounds are filtered photographs. However, Rise and Fall contains original art created by many overseas UTAU artists and users.

This game contains scenes and images of heavy violence, tragedy and death. Please do not download or play this game if you are sensitive to these kinds of things.

This game would have been impossible to make without the help of all of my friends. Thanks to EVERYONE who made R+F possible! It feels unreal that we're finally done, haha!

Note: This is my first visual novel game, and thus I'm sure there will be plenty of mistakes. I've learned a lot since I've started working on R+F, so I'm hoping that with the following chapters of this story, I will get even better at bringing the R+F experience to life and making it more enjoyable for everyone. I hope that even though it isn't perfect, you all enjoy the story that is Rise and Fall.
