This engine sat for 12 years with cylinder down, so the top end was full of old, gelified oil gunk. I tore it down, cleaned just about anything, put on new gaskets and seals, mesaured the clearances, gave it a meticulous valve job, new filter and pump diaphragm, new spark plug.
No new rings were needed, it only ran two years before being stored, in my prediction that's about 100 hrs on it since I used it.

  • hm about to clean up and fix the exact mower

  • Nice driveway!

  • I'v had a ton of these engines, I usually find them on the side of the road, half the time I dont even need to clean the carb. Just fresh gas. People dont realize how durable these little engines are, well how durable and B&S engine is.
