I was at this concert ... Kurt from Info Society was wandering the audience and watching the Exotic Birds performing but kept getting interrupted with fans coming up to him ... he was checking to see if they were good enough to continue the tour with them... i also think this was a bad time because Cause and Effect were supposed to be there as well but Sean died ... RIP Sean ... you are truly missed
Well... I just did a bit of research. This video is from 1991... way after Trent had moved on. But the drummer IS Chris Verina(sp?), who later played with NIN and several other big acts. Trent only played on and off with this band... he wasn't a solid member. NIN was well on it's way by the time this was recorded. But it's NOT EMF. Still gotta say though... that beat DOES sound like "Up Above It". hmm... I just thought you'd like to know.
Yup... Trent was obviously developing and learning a lot from his time in this band. Beat DOES sound a lot like "Up Above It". I guess they were opening for Information Society? You can tell how much he wanted to be the focal point by the way he tosses the drum stick at the end. "Look at ME!". LOL! Videos like this are why I love Youtube. Awsome.
It's like he used his experience with this band as a template but added more angst, made it darker, and switched up the beats.Come to think of it NIN is just a darker angrier version on this band LOL.

Sure it's not EMF. Sure you are a fake that doesn't really know what's emf about, another guy that listen with his eyes and buy what the media offers.
Love Reznor, i'm an old fan, phm era.
Better you shut up, and keep listening shit like 15 years to venus

Hate to burst your bubble, but that's Rich Carpenter on the drums. Not Chris Vrenna.

Is it me or does the drum beat in this song remind you of DOWN IN IT by NIN...Yeah this does sound like early NIN.
