Clean coal is like healthy cigarettes. It does not exist. . . We need to have an alliance between the groups that are trying to lead the effort fighting the climate crisis and the groups that are fighting poverty and disease. . . CO2 anywhere is a threat to human civilization everywhere. . . Today, the US Congress are without debate and without a single hearing preparing to lift the moratorium on oil shale . . . this is utter insanity. . . We, the human species, have to solve this crisis."
