Joe Frazier defends his Heavyweight Championship against the murderous punching George Foreman. Foreman shockingly destroys Frazier by knocking him down 6 times in 2 rounds. It's an all time legendary fight and career defining performance for Big George Foreman. I mixed in the commentary call from the two legendary announcers, Don Dunphy and Howard Cosell. If you notice, I slowly start off the fight with mostly Don Dunphy announcing the fight. But as the fight gets more dramatic Howard Cosell's infamous "Down goes Frazier" can be heard. As the realization of Frazier losing becomes more eminent I switch the call back to the Don Dunphy call as the intensity subsides and the looming tone of sadness arises.
It's important to note Frazier's training wasn't at the same intensity as it was in the past, and the grueling fight with Ali definitely took a little out of Frazier. At any rate, Foreman makes a thunderous impact as a powerful and formidable fighter in the Heavyweight division.

This was when boxing was exciting because you some of the greatest fighters going for the World Heavyweight Title. Ali Frazier & Foreman where the three top fighters to hold the title

The fight with Muhammad Ali in 1971 took a lot from Frazier, in fact Frazier was never the same after such a beating he got that fight. Although Frazier won the fight, he took too much punishment from Ali in their first fight. Then Frazier was completely finished after their third fight in Manila. That was Frazier's last great performance. In a way Ali ruined Frazier's career after they first met.

@tapiaassasin Cont.. In those two fights he fought weak opposition, a bum by the name of Ron Stander and an average british champ Joe Bugner. Joe also had considerable ring rust going into the Foreman fight. His style meant he was almost used up by the time he was closing in on 30. Styles make fights and George Foreman would always beat Joe Frazier like this or similiar at least, I agree with that. Simply pointing out this wasn't a peak Frazier.
