the diferences between generations of graphics engines is about the shaders algorithms that simulate the effects and the lighting...so if the graphic example haven't been programed to use the specifics algorithms. you won't see any diference in effects.. it's like playing pacman in directx1 and in directx 11, no diference!

Not really, Dx11 is all about Tessellation primarily. The problem is this game isn't ideal to use it noticably.

Everybody should play on DirectX11, according to this video you are 1,18 sec faster!

All my old game's graphics are ugly in directx 11 I wanna downgrade to 9 but that's impossible

There is a difference.

In the directX 11 section of the video,it says :"DirextX11".

And in the directX 9 section of the video,it says :"DirectX 9".

Also,the directX 11 is a few hundreths of seconds ahead.

These differences should not be neglected.

Direct x 11 tecnology is way better than 9 in speed but i don't see changes in graphics That's The Point Of The New Version Like The Nividia And ATi  That is the pont if direct x

Глупо спорить, есть или нет разница. DiRT 2 одна из первых трех игр которые начали использовать DX 11. Не кто и не обещал дичайшего отличия. Сами разработчики говорили, что они лишь улучшили поведение тканей, физику воды, и совсем немного улучшили освещение, что видно на видео.

this dx 11 is pretty well built. even tho it's 2-3 years old it still looks good. Just that in racing games, you can't really appreciate the dx 11 features. Bu they're there. So pretty pointless =/

You guys don't see any difference? you must be blind then o_O specially lighting
