@boardman49 Thats the original horn that engine has had since it left the EMD plant in the mid-late 80s. Dont you think that after 20 years on the road that a horn would get out of tune?

I should have checked after it was filmed, but I should tell you that I got that same engine in the lead of 134 back in March and man the horn needed maintainance, but ended up with an all EMD lash up.

that rocking is called Harmonic Rock..it happens when the train is getting up tp norman speed.

Yeah. They strapped a moose to the front of the locomotive and used it as a horn.
