Watch my cool magic trick as I literally drain the color out of my t-shirt as I wash it and make it come back again. Hypercolor t-shirts were all the fad about 22 years ago or so. Thermochromes are substances that can change color due to temperature change. The company that originated it all was Generra, now a division of Public Clothing Company. Matsui Shikiso Company is the maker of the thermachromic pigment. Caution: Do not wash these shirts in with your regular laundry and DO NOT put these shirts in the dryer.

  • Well, if the shirt is light sensitive then wear it today or tomorrow or any day when the sun is out. If the shirt is heat sensitive, then you probably will have to wait till it's much warmer out if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.

  • All you have to do is use warm water and you will be able to activate the shirt's hypercolor pigment. When the temperature gets to a certain level, the shirt will turn white in the affected areas. It's pretty cool to see it happen. :)
