my magnum getting smoked

I had to try this guy. He had a "426 hemi" badge and was hoping he was just a stock 5.7 hemi to make a good race.(i have a cold air and chip). oops
I was wrong... he admitted (in spanish) that it was a 5.7 but modified to 435 hp. no way!, he would have beat me by more if thats the case. still I got smoked!! still love my magnum and looking for any close race!

the stock charger r/t is only 1-2 tenths faster than a stock magnum r/t .,he had to have more mods than you to pull away like that!great vid though ,mopar vs mopar!my 06 magnum r/t is in the mod stage but a slow process ,to much to do and not enough money,lol..I was told that the best type of CAI is the induction style ,were the cold air is fed through intake pipe from below the fender well,or in front of the radiator behind and below the bumper.(take it slow....)

maybe 400HP, its easy to get that with CAI, predator tune and exhaust....but he would have had to do the cam for 435HP.....possible.....but not from what I saw.

I have those upgrades done to my magnum, no cam though, and I have pulled from magnums like that.

the weight difference is only 110 pounds so that depends on who has more gas in the tank

1. Drop it into 3rd Gear or second since your in the city,, the horsepower is in the 4k to 5k range so when u get to the 3 count your HP and torque is @ your disposal.

2. Close your sunroof and all windows.

3 Your in a Magnum, he's in a Charger, big weight difference.. LOL!!!
