@Thewwekiller James was a murderer. The Pyramid Head is the representation of the evilest of men and actions. Like I said, I haven't played the others you spoke of. But if there wasn't murder or something detestable done by the main character then yeah, they shouldn't have used him again.

Pyramid Head is a big part of Silent Hill in general. The outfit is that of their executioner. I haven't played homecoming but I'm not surprised they used him again.
Haven't played Origins so I can't comment.
Silent Hill 2 remains my utmost favorite of the series. I'll fight anyone to the death who disagrees with me.

@JCrossStudios Except that Pyramid head isn't a big part of Silent Hill or else he would have appeared in 1, 3, or 4. There's a reason James was the only person to see it in those 4 games.

No problem, I checked this out because of a comment on blistered thumbs and you seem to be pretty good, I'm currently checking out your videos on blip and I have to admit I am SO happy to find someone who reviews wrestling games. One of my favorite games was a wrestling game on N64 so I am still somewhat nostalgic for them. Anyway sorry for taking up so much space, just wanted to say keep up the good work and I'll do my best to keep watching.

While I do agree that downpour is taking it in an odd direction not using the cult I think that silent hill itself has more involvement than the cult itself, afterall silent hill the place has always been like this from what I can glean from the games and the cult was sort of built around that, so if they handle it well and make it a mystery about why the cult isn't in the game it might be good ^^ as for the rest of what you said it was good, I agree on most points especially recycling monsters.
