Hofstede Conference THE INFLUENCE OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON BUSINESS

Is there a relationship between culture and business performance or is culture seen as a nuisance? The conference aimed at enabling participants to actively apply cultural concepts from a management perspective, as a tool of management.

The highlight of the conference was a Key Note speech by one of the world´s pioneers in the study of national and organizational cultures, Professor Geert Hofstede whose books and ideas are used worldwide.

The Key Note presented research facts from the academic world and its implications in the way culture is being (mis)used from a management perspective.

Four world-class speakers, combining over 120 years of experience in international management, took their audiences along their experiences in how to use culture from a management perspective, and the impact it can have on the bottom line results of an organization.
