This photo video is based on photos taken at the art exhibition enitled "Graf L.E.S. Since 1968," currently (August 2009) hanging at the Tompkins Square Library Art Gallery (on East 10th St. between Avenues A and B) in the East Village. It features several artists from the show, including Juan Carlos Pinto, who uses NYC Transit Metro Cards to create his images, and beautiful pieces from Paul Adrian, Peter Missing and Marlis Momber that photographically document graffiti. It also features Apocalynn, who paints abstracted expressionistic images, sometimes including text, to create colorist canvasses that truly reflect their time. Enjoy!
