I leap from bed in the middle of night,
Run up the stairs for 3 or 4 flights,
Run in a room,turn on the light,
The dark is too dark but the light's too bright.

Like finding the moon if I was blind,
It¹s there so stark, so undefined,
I must get help before I lose my mind.

Jeez, this takes me back! To the days before headphones, when I used to lie on the floor, with the speakers on either side of my head, listening to stuff like this. (paying the price now - can't hear high frequencies - watch that volume!)
Used to play along to this on an old tele. Hadn't heard of vari-speed recording back then, so it took me ages to master it. Lol. Good memories.
Not sure that 2001 fits the music but thanks for uploading. :)

Awesome band. I am afraid I must have tortured my parents playing the hogs at ever increasing volume 30+ years ago. I was lucky enough to see TS when he played 'the Globe' in Guisborough. Difficult to see who you could compare the Groundhogs with IMO. Unique, brilliant and groundbreaking I would say.

@wildcardwrecking Thing is we were ahead of our time, and if the tables were turned at this present time They would secretly like it LOL, I reckon they just didnt know what to make of it, and probably STILL don`t, its a crazy thing , but true !!!

@cheeseppuff They were very famous in the 70`s and retained their fanbase since then, the music is timeless and well worth checking out, my site has many tracks from their `Split` album and links to my other site...
