Warrior in the Mist - Part 1

Warrrior in the Mist - Part 1 is animated version of of an original sci-fi comic book story I wrote and illustrated. It will be presented in 4 parts since the full short is too large for YouTube upload size limit.

Script was written by Cyrus Voris (screenwriter for "Bulletproof Monk" and co-creator of the Emmy nominated cable series "The Cell") Cyrus and I work together on the old "Galaxy Rangers", animated series.

A print version appeared in Komikwerks 2 anthology. available at www.komikwerks.com.

"Twenty year in the making!" You heard that statement before in term of big budget epics, well in case it happens to be true for this small project. Warrior in the Mist is from a 12-page one shot comic book story start in 1973 (the original title was "The Eternal Warrior", a name that was "lifted" by a certain comic book company, but that a story for another time). This animation version was started in 1992, done on my Amiga 2000 computer, mostly with Deluxe Paint, an early digital paint and animation program.

This version is a "work in progress" program. Warrior in the Mist has alaways been a test bed for my creative ideas. Warrior in the Mist will appear in my Dragonfly Comix Flipz™ book series. So, I plan to add original music (mainly in Apple's Garage bank and Soundtrack software). At some point, I hope to replace my rough vioceover with a polished actor, but for now it will do.

Since the maximum durataion on YouTube is 10 minutes, why not combine the 4 chapters into one video?

The comm unit at the end would sound cool if it was effected to sound like a radio or the comm units in Star Wars or Homeworld.

I wanted to upload the combine version but it was over the youtube's size limit,so I edited it in the four parts.

It's still a work in progress and I will add some sound effects over the radio message to add crackle and radio static.
