Based on best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks (A Walk to Remember, The Notebook) latest novel, THE LAST SONG is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (GREG KINNEAR) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenage daughter (MILEY CYRUS), whod rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common—music—in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. The film is directed by Julie Anne Robinson from a screenplay by Sparks & Jeff Van Wie.

The Last Song will be released in theaters April 2, 2010.

@suerafuls I'm sorry, but I just can't stand the people who just hate Miley in everything. I used to hate her; especially as Hannah Montana on Disney Channel and stuff like that. But she IS a great actress, and she can sing really well. I want to give her a second chance, because this movie looks great with her. And, Nicholas Sparks, in an interview, said that he basically wrote the part FOR Miley Cyrus.

I remember seeing the book in stores and once i notice Miley was on the cover I poorly judged it,(which was bad on my part) but now that Im actually takin the time to watch this video and seeing wat its about, I really want to buy this book and watch this movie

I did the same. I thought a Miley Cyrus film would be cheesy and very Hannah Montanna. But, i read the book, after i saw the When i look at you video and i loved the song. I got the book and i absolutly loved it and i pictured her as Ronnie and what i've seen from the clips, she doesnt dissapoint. I love the book and i can't wait to watch the film.
