With Gormless Gideon Osborne the Bilderberg Baldric we haven't got a cat in hell's chance. He sings the Neocon Hymn. He gave the crossrail contract to Siemens on a plate instead of Bombadier. Means the trains will be built in Krefeld, Deutschland instead of Derby. Better for the Taxpayer. Yeah paying for dole with less tax coming in. El Camarón & Gideon are Little Dicks,

Here in Australia we had the "Morris 850" version rather than the "Austin Se7en" version of the original Mini.
The Austin version had a grille which gave it a family resemblence to the larger Austin models of the era.
Very interesting old footage, thanks for sharing!

The current BMW Mini has a diesel version planned.
Leyland actually developed a diesel engine based on the BMC A Series engine.
It was used in the Leyland Mini tractor, but never used in cars.

@taffy1967 ... A representative British-made engine should be a very reliable high-efficiency Diesel that can run on pure vegetable oil. Currently what British company makes one?
Lovely piece of old footage!
