I think Wolgang Windgassen had the most handsome tenor's voice that I've ever heard. It is not only strong and correct, but also sounds young and with personality, as are most of tenor's role.
Thanks for this video.

Windgassen, proving that at 60, he could sing any of today's so-called heldentenors off the stage - the voice fresh, accurate and spinning...what a guy!

That's not right. You could hear him in Stuttgart in the early Years of 1970.

Definitely Bayreuth 54-64,Windgassen didn´t sing Tannhäuser anymore after that period...

This is not Stuttgart 1974, but probably Bayreuth 1954. The sets, costumes and stage directions are those of Wieland Wagner, and Windgassen's physical appearance and optimal vocal state do not match those of the early 1970s.

wohl einer der besten Tannhäusertenöre, die es je gab.

Je vais encore pleurer en pensant que c'est l'année où on l'a perdu. De fois j'aime pas Dieu(x).
Do you have any registation with Windgassen and C.Kleiber in Stutt´gard performing "Treistan"?
