  • That's great news that there will be a generic available. For a drug that has been around for 30 yrs, it certainly is expensive. I'm sure many addicts couldn't afford it and choose to stay with a cheaper painkiller.

  • Let me clarify-- the formulation and use of the drug were patented, not the individual medications themselves. And the generic protection runs out-- meaning that another company can come along and start making the drug.... I have not yet heard about any drug manufacturer who plans to do that. I hope someone does for the same reasons as you. Although one tab per day provides pretty much the max effect-- that is $150 per month, which isn't too far from many popular pain meds.

  • I think your videos are great and what you're doing and saying is immensely important. Keep up the great work!

Suboxone will be generic this October. Yay!

  • Thanks!

  • thank goodness for generic ! I don't know about anyone else but the cost is killing me. but hey whatever the cost it's worth it. I wasn't sure it was gonna work for me , but about 2 weeks into treatment I started to feel 110 % better ! Not high just normal. AHHH the joy of being normal..

  • Good info on the forum, thanks
