Wrapping up Baron Dark Knight Harvey's adventures, it's now time to venture straight into the wondrous world of Benjamin and his destined 'Mystic Quest' to reclaim 4 missing crystals that represent the elemental powers in his dimension (Although there's 5 in the title screen, but I digress).
In this summer's latest episode, I'm finally prepared to land the big boys! That's right....I, your ever-praised VG addict of a net-reviewer, am now approaching the RPG territory, as we delve into Square (Square Enix)'s ever-popular, ever-celebrated franchise....on the 16-bit SNES!
With that, here's the lineup:
Final Fantasy 2 (aka 4) / ファイナルファンタジーIV (Conclusion)
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest / ファイナルファンタジーUSAミスティッククエスト (The highlight of this and the next part)
Due to the incredibly extended length of the rest of the review, this episode will now be split into 4 (you heard me correctly, Christdamn you - 4) parts - so if I were you (even before the next few parts show up)....I'd WATCH THIS FIRST!!
WARNING - contains explicit language / obscene gestures / some suggestive dialogue (A CENSORED version will be up soon); viewer discretion advised.
And as always....don't start thinking I'll let anyone off without this grave reminder - I expect NOT to see any insults and/or snap judgments from any random user/flamer revolving around research, acting, originality ("someone's ripping off something", Simpsons), skills (gameplay/reviews), or any of the like - or there will be death, bloodshed, torment and annihilation beyond your wildest imagination!
Teaming up with the Mist Dragon, Antlion and the Baron Officer (w/ guards) to bring about my downfall are the Minotaur and other random douchebag creatures including Sandworms, Poison Toads, Brownie elves and the like.
