Oh... simply incredible to see a video like this. Maria looked pretty much like my first love back in junior high. She is truly unique singer. Geoff on mandolin, Bill on banjo, Jim on Guitar, Richard on fiddle, and Fritz on jug.
I would guess she was Maria D'Amato when this was recorded. She later DID marry - Geoff Muldaur, who is playing mandolin in this song. Richard Green on fiddle, Bill Kieth on banjo, Fritz Richmond on jug and of course Jim Kweskin on guitar. This is the Kweskin Jug Band.
The jug was a little loud in the mix but it shows how natural a singer she was.
