All I have to say is I watched him from the beginning......I remember him in Little House on the Prairie, I think he was expected to be the best in anything he did, but I think he got caught up, I don't think he realized his potential in anything he did because I don't think he trusted his fame. a lot of insecurities there, and now he is gone....dead at 40 years old. I loved this guy, I'm just afraid he didn't love himself.

Does anyone have Chris' long program performance from the 1989 Nationals? I was there and saw it in person -- got his autograph, too.

So sorry to learn a few months ago of his death. "Bowman the Showman" was my mother's favorite men's singles skater. He will always be remembered.

Even I agree that Browning was held up in the SP even though I love Browning.

Bronze would've been more reasonable for Bowman. I would've given the gold to Wylie, silver to Petrenko, and bronze to Bowman.
