@MadOldMan Vampire Weekend was a name of a movie that Ezra (singer) made in college. Wen they started the band, they came across the video and needed a name so they called themselves Vampire Weekend. The name stuck. They never intended that to be their final name, but it stuck

They got the name from a film they made for university called "Vampire Weekend." Apprently its about a vampire named "Walcott." Hence the song named Walcott as well

I don't get why this song is called "Cape Cod" anything. It doesn't have anything to do with Cape Cod and doesn't sound like something you'd ever normally hear there...
