Searching for the first use of electric guitar and it said its to them.

Milton and his Brownies sound like the main inspiration for Pokey Lafarge - great that someone has had the initiative to update this style of music!

It must have been amazing to see this guy live. His energy just pops off the record. It's a tragedy for Western Swing that he died so young.

Will he miss those Plymouth Rock?

The piano player was Fred "Papa" Calhoun.

is that moon on piano?

Hey Your Uncle was a one hell of a player!! I´m waiting to Bob Dunn´s double cd collection from the Origin Jazz Library-label, it´s supposed to come out this year.. Cheers from Finland, Igor
I was just wondering, it sounds like he says, "Play it Mr. Dunn." on that first solo. Was that the steel guitar?

Yes. That's Bob Dunn the superb steel guitar player. After Milton Brown died Dunn went on to join Cliff Bruner and his Texas Wanderers.
He made some recordings with his own band - Bob Dunn's Vagabonds (basically The Texas Wanderers). He's said to be the the first person to record with an electrically amplified instrument.
Best wishes
