I recently met a gentleman that staes that he was one of these original Persuaders. I checked a internet source called "wikipedia' and it does not list this gentleman for whom I am referring. He states that his daughter receives royalty checks for "Thin Line between Love & Hate". He appears to not exhibit any symptoms of confusion, but I can not find a source listed with his name. Does anyone know the names of the original group members? If anyone can assist...

@burtonrules123 LOL! yeah I guess I am the same age as your mom! My daughter is 20, So as a mom I can tell you dont fret dont be anxious there is someone out there just for you! I met my hubby when I was 24 and we have been happily married for 23 years! I was exactly where you are now hating to be alone seeing everyone linked to someone special and you feel as if you are the only one alone.

@jlomax oh wow, your a girl? and you grew up in th 70's? you must be around my moms age, thats awsome! im only 24, and i feel so much with this song. i walk around some days today and i see countless couples and im like what is this, noahs ark? where are all the singles? i talk to many girls, but seems everyone i talk to has a BF and im a romantic but im also getting kinda anxious and its hard to have to constantly surpress these feelings inside of me.

@burtonrules123 I sooo agree! Thiis is the ORIGINAL!! I do beleive though it came out in the 70's around 74 or 75 only because I remember being in high school and wondering why I didnt;' have a boyfriend and made this this my "theme song" since I use to see girls at my school with boys on their arms and I was so lonely..I would sing "SOME GIRLS HAVE ALL THE LUCK" in my room as it played on my radio (WLIB AM in NYC!!) LOL! Yeah the Rod Stewart version sucked big time!!!!
