I feel that I need to tell you that a lot of Americans aren't southern. FYI.

@8800888 so what, your country has high crime, your country has rednecks (infact almost all countrys have rednecks) the uk has blacks, and drug abuse, all countrys have stupid people, and all countrys have problems. and "many people in the world know that"

@Tymakesmaps Carefull..I used to think that way about most other cultures from all over the world too,but this is because they're taught manners are everything,so will appear charming to your face ONLY.Behind your back or in a sheltered position,they completely SUCK and are very two faced.

I just hope the web and being able to connect to eachother around the world and realize on a deeper level, were are one and similar. America's society of 'consumerism' / 'materialism' is actually driven by a 'corporate' machine, I personally hate it. So much of our media is actually not in my opinion 'wanted' by the people as much as now pushed on america from the 'corporate' interest of consume, consume. I hope other countries revolt against this. Its decaying and defiling our human 'ness'.

So North Americans have a stereotype of being stupid, australians have a stereotype of feeling superior to everyone else and editing videos so that the dumbest 1% of a country looks like the majority. Congratulations, hope you feel better about yourselves.
