  • @grapeapevine Actually, I must elaborate. Let me ask you a question. Let's say you painted in premium grade, amazing high quality paint. Does that guarantee you an awesome outcome? NO! That means the painting isn't even worth the canvas painted on it. And that's really SAD. Unfortunately, your viewers/consumers don't care how much you spent on materials, usually. That question is rarely a concern. It's all about the final outcome. So yes, again... $50.00 is my threshold.

  • @grapeapevine The problem is, you're looking at this in a material cost value sense. I don't give a crap how much the materials cost. I am very aware how expensive materials costs, I paint in oil paints with Old Holland, Blockx, Holbein... A 40ml tube can cost up to $40.00+ a tube. It's what I'd be willing to pay for something that really has no value. If a young talentless child can recreate your work, you should rethink what you're painting.

  • @grapeapevine yes you are right golden products cost money, they are not cheap i paint because i love it and people do not realise that paints canvas material they all add up.

  • @Nishie900 50$....????? lmfao.......are u fucking kidding me??? i cant speak for this painter but as for my self i spend that just on a canvas your smoking crack!!!!!!!!!!!! go look how much a tube of golden or heavybody liqutex sells for and a mastertouch canvas an varnish......a 36x48 can take any were from 20oz to 128oz of just paint.......add that up at 5$ to 9$ a oz...............an then 40$ for the canvas an thats with 40% off an 10$ for varnish..................do the math

  • @Nishie900 I totally agree.

  • @bourbonbigshot thank you so much!
