@IruleOverProgressive did you do ANY reading about the case? the land parcels that were subsequently withdrawn citing negative environmental impact for the region --which was conveniently overlooked because the land adjudicators were found to be accepting money from oil lobbyists... anything?
if you ever attempt to wipe your ass do you completely ignore the corporatist forearm in the way?

I hope he gets 20 years...

10 YEARS in prison??!! That's utterly ridiculous given the auction was NOT legitimate in the first place. WTF is wrong with our country?? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

If Tim does end up doing 10 years (and it's starting to look that way) for what he did, then that truly unnerves me. The reason being is that when a person gets punished for actually doing a GOOD deed, it sets the human race back literally hundreds of years as a result. I hope AND PRAY he has a guardian angel by his side the whole way. He could sure use one right now...

@zombays What was illegal about the auction?????? Are you saying that only because Huffington says so. Do some research of your own, maybe even find some facts before you open you enormously ignorant trap. This was all Utah owned land that the state had the right to auction off at any time! DeChriopher is the classic won't work for his money enviromentalist idiot who runs around destroying his life and others all at the behest of some guilty trustfunder trying to put meaning in his life!

You moronic idiots that whatch this shit and actually support the premise and behaviors of this moron should all be deported. Because of his actions and similar actions of our current commander and Theif we are all going to pay exhorbanant amounts for fuel and other basic necessities. All you idiots that support government land grabs to save the public space have no idea what your talking about and I bet there isn't a one of you trust funder enviromentalists thats even been to this region!

@zombays I consider acting without any sort of winning strategy against a leviathan criminal entity as juvenile. I consider putting your freedom at risk and not being able to conduct future actions to further your goals as irrational. With a little thought and pre-planning, his goal could have been achieved and his freedom retained. All of your anger is justified, but I'd advise trying logic over emotion when you're going up against government criminals.
So let me get this straight. Obama is choosing to convict this guy for a brave deed to save public lands (The Commons) against an unjust procedure.
--and yet, Obama refuses to prosecute anyone in the Bush Administration for war crimes, even though Spain is leading the charge...
---on top of this, Obama pretends to answer the question that was #1, but really fudged it up to lose the original intent.
So I would have to say Obama seems to be owned by the same puppeteers as the Bush Admin.

Obama will let murders go free like Bush and then prosecute someone trying to do right. I'm glad I didn't vote for him.
