now on a serious note, people who think Deftones is only "7 words" or "My Own Summer" type of songs are mad. Deftones have a straight hard core sound and an atmospheric mellow sound. "Digital Bath" "Knife Party" "Hole in the Earth" "Xerces" , etc. I personally prefer this sound
