  • Maybe you guys can shed light on a quest i have had for a long time, why use batteries when you could have a combustable hyrogen engine acting as a generator to provide electricity to an electric motor. fuel it lighter and can be stored to the same capacity as fossil fuels

  • Great !!!!

  • Awesome! I am currently racing a GSXR1000K6 but would love to switch to an electric bike; it is the way of the future; and I think it is going to be here in a big way very soon. Can you imagine having motorcycle recreation parks (road & off road) in the suburbs, with no noise for society to complain about.

  • @SideburnerSol ooops ! sorry.... een away from here for quite a while ! i know, isn't it exciting ? now, if only i could find someone interested in buying my first born + my house + my car !?...LOL...

  • I want an electric bike for weekends

  • @nuno1959 Two out of three with the Brammo Empulse 10.0. 100+ mph top speed and 100+ mile range, but the 110v charge time is overnight, unless you have a 220v fast charge sytem, then it's 3 hours. Almost there.

  • And the latest is that they will NOT be a Laguna for the race because the batteries that they chose were inaccurately spec'd. The weight of the batteries was incorrect, resulting in 40lbs more than planned, and the batteries themselves didn't provide enough when needed. I believe the cells were Headway brand.

  • been a motorcyclist for 40 years.. - & am following the rise of electric bike projects for the last 3, 4 years & all i can say is : Kudos & keep at it guys ! things have evolved by leaps & bounds and i can't wait 2 have high perf. bikes for sale 2 the public . i love my bike - GSXR 1000K3.. - but i'm sure tired of pump gas, oil & oil filter changes + all the garbage gas vehicles produce. reliability + 100mph top speed + 100 mile range + 2 hour 1/2 charge in any socket & i'll buy 1 the next day !

  • do it. i would get an electric bike. get in there lads, really brave to be a pioneer. Good luck.

  • wow! amazing bike!
