As an Oklahoma this place speaks to my heart. You should go back and see the memorial. It is amazing. I went to the site 2 days after the bombing and then 2 times before he building was knocked down. It was the worst thing i had ever seen. To see the memorial, the way it is now, just helps take away some of the ugliness of he day
I have tons of pics of the memorial itself. I wish I had thought to take some when the building was still standing, but I had just hours before the boming broke my shoulder and had staples in my head, so I didn't think very cleary in the days to follow on all my pain meds. Plus not a lot of people other than press were taking pics, it was kind of a honor thing, no one wanted to be disrepectful
What happened to cause your injuries? Is everything ok now? I know that was 13 years ago. Hard to believe it's been that long. I don't know if you would be interested, but we haven't had a chance to get down to the memorial. If you wanted to share some of your pictures we would put them on our website and give you credit for them. We were there in 1998 for the 3-year anniversary. The pictures of the children were the most difficult.
I went there with family when I first moved to Oklahoma City. There is such an errie silence where all the chairs are situated in memory of those who died, and also the big black fountain is creepy. So sad I just felt the urge to get out as soon as I stepped on the grounds.
it's very heart breaking .you can feel the pain and sadness even through the video. But everyone leaves a peice of themselves there to honor their loved ones , i just pray that they all stay strong even year later.thanx death2ur.
You are welcome.

I've always wanted to go back and see the memorial. I'm sure it's much like being at Ground Zero. That haunting silence of aftermath.
