My great-grandfather was on the Oklahoma Farmers Union State Board of Directors from 1944 - 1962.

This 78 LP record belongs to my cousin Bruce. The recording is of a KOMA-OKC radio broadcast from October 29, 1949. Mr. Swart talks about recent legislation out of Washington City and how it will affect the family farmer.

Mr. Swart died in July 1962, six months before my father was born. This is the first time I've ever heard my great-grandfather's voice.
