It's Thanksgiving Time--So Where Are The Bicycles?

Video Of Two Shopping Center parking lots on the day before Thanksgiving (2011). The lots of full of cars, but not a bicycle to be seen. The Palo Alto City Council has proclaimed that 2011 is "the Year of the Bicycle!". So--where are the cyclists who have come to market to buy a 30 pound turkey, and all the trimmings, so that they can put all of these groceries on their backs and cycle home again?

Not likely. Maybe in 3rd world countries, but upscale communities like Palo Alto?

So, Council Members--Where are the bicycles?
