The Biafran Civil War lasted 3 years (1967-1970), during which nearly 2 million people died. It has been said that the second worst genocide in history (to the Holocaust) occurred in Biafra. This video just skims the surface of the atrocities and pain felt by the Igbo, who suffer to this day. Instead of shoving blame around, we should try to educate those who are ignorant, and break the silence that has surrounded the genocide.

Chinua Achebe and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie have written some of the most captivating, moving books in the world about Igbo culture, history and the war. They are popular worldwide and have received many awards but there are many unspoken heroes as well.

It was not nigerians alone killed us but the whites who were not contented with what they had. If nigerians could kill us all to take over the land simply because of the so called oil, the whites will later perish them like one time in the american history. Blockeded or not the liones of this would, love crime. White people are very greedy. Making a friend with a white person is like= selling 'ur private part without gain.

The only good thing to come out of this at the time only was it took the spotlight off Rhodesia. You do gooders let Nigerians do this but oh no we cant not let our blacks vote. Instead of hassling us the UN should have hassled those Nigerian bastards. Politics is a dirty business why do we kill each other we are going to die anyway?

We know who. We know the people who wanted us all dead so they can take the oil. We know all the collaborators. They real criminals still practice it today. Their Nigerian stooges have made a killing for themselves. No matter how much they try to makes us forget, we never will.

Who actually blockaded Biafra ? Did Nigeria have war ship to blockade Biafra? Did Nigeria have the arms and jets to fight so against Biafra? It was the world powers that wanted Biafras oil, they took it after the war and the war was actually fought by A PROXY.
