@sotovo not millions - billions. Many 8 movers (16 ply) is even billions of billions.
-
incredible game
-
@videochess So did he win the program? and if he did , did any program manage to win kasparov other than (the fake game vs deepblue )
-
@metalero19882 yes computers search very far but your comparison is a bit of a stretch in favor of machine.
Kasparov's 5 to 8 moves (he actually search 15 moves in topalov game of century) already reject millions of potential positions. It takes computer millions of search moves to find mere 5 - 8 of kasparov.
In other words what is not analyzed is just as important.
Unfortunately, currently this data is more difficult if not impossible to quantify. cheers fellow chess player

Kasparov ran to the left so the computer couldn't do any king attack. He also ganged up on the queen side and it was over!
-
haha, that time computer chess worked.
The program is too stupid to start a play on the right corner because of its "short" horizont.
-
fuck Capa...after Kasparov dies there's gonna be noone in the world who can compete successfully against chess comps
-
i wonder if the grate TAL whould have played a computer how it whould be.......
-
the game finish with Kh8 , the computer resigns, bye
That is one of the most unusual looking games I have ever seen. Kasparov has amazing mobility for such a cramped space.
