Ok Todd Eng, you've got it right except for one thing. Clean your grill with a wire brush AFTER you've finished grilling - not before. When you clean it right after you take the food off, the grill and the food particles will be hot, so using the wire brush will be much easier and more effective. Plus, if you instead clean the grill before you use it, the remnants from your last grilling session will fall in the fire and burn, and impart a bad flavor to your food.
