I don't believe in spay or neuter personally. Everything else stated is a cop out. I was in college, worked full time, and still took responsibility for my dog. When I moved out I REFUSED to rent a place that would not allow me to take my 200lb Great Dane with me. Needless to say after months of waiting and declines we both found a place.:) Even added a second dog, cat, and snake to the home. A life without my animals is a life not worth living.

It made me so sad. I have worked in "animal shelters" and a quick death there is really better than the slow death of the street. I think the video should have ended with "the pile" after a kill day at a shelter. Our local parish shelter gets in 9000-10,000 a year but only adopts out 1500-2000. The rest die. Of course all pits are put to sleep (that is another rant in and of itself!). That is just ONE parish! I put a link to the video on my teacher web page. I will show it in class too.

I know this is an old video but this video made me cry and it sickened me that there are people out there that do this to animals.

I own 2 beautiful well trained pit-bulls and we moved 2 different time's we were told we would have to get rid of them or move out so we moved out and said screw with it I would rather be homeless then loose my dogs and my 1 cat. Believe it or not my animals saved me from depression that I had I can't see my self with out them I spend a lot of money on them

It is so heartbreaking how some people can do such a thing; I lived in my car with my fur babies for over a month until I found a place that aloud pets. They are my kids, part of me. They never leave us.

My husband and I spent months looking for a place because we refused to lose one of our pets. They are so near and dear to our hearts and part of our family. Even the thought of losing either of them breaks my heart. I guess I never understand some of the excuses people come up with.

There is a veterinary place around here that put a cat to sleep because the owners couldn't train it to pee in the litter box. It's a sad reality.
