Boxing Robot Prototype - Titan gets ....real with LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT

VIDEO MADE ON MAY-11 BUT RELEASED TO PUBLIC VIEW SIX MONTHS LATER (NOVEMBER 27, 2011) !!

Titan was the third prototype of my LEGO MINDSTORMS boxing robots inspired by the Real Steel movie... This one was much shorter, around 72cm tall (with its rolling base), while the first prototype which had serious stability problems was 18 cm taller.
The video was made on May 11 and it served as the first test/trial of boxing moves. Titan has been much evolved since then as arm motors were totally relocated to increase speed and power!

The final Boxing Robots were presented at the WORLD ROBOT OLYMPIAD 2011in Abu Dhabi.
