Dwight Yoakum STOLE this movie. You can't get more shitty that Doyle Hargoves. And that dude who says "leaving his soul" and "parting the waters of the madula oblongata" is right out a mental hospital. Hard to believe that this movie is 15 years old.

The real villain in this movie was the kid's mother. She should never have let Doyle anywhere near her son, yet she continued a relationship with him. Finally Doyle gets killed, Karl gets reinstitutionalized and the kid loses a trusted friend (Karl).
