The IBF Karate team with its Instructor Shihan Richard Pet in Rijnsburg,NL organized this promotional Gracie Jiu Jitsu seminar. The San Diego based Gracie Jiu Jitsu instructor Mario Schapp was welcomed to teach some Combatives Techniques.
Great job introducing them to GJJ! That's really cool that they invited you to share some techniques. There is a Karate class at the YMCA that I go to that I am trying to talk into letting me teach them some combatives, but I'm not sure if they think its valuable to their training. They have great striking skills, but are sorely lacking ground skills. I have no doubt I could walk in their and submit every one of them. If they were truly interested in self defense they would learn GJJ!
