Wanting to see a boxer win by knock-out and wanting to see the loser of the match leave with brain damage are two different things. Besides the two boxers know what they are they getting into and they know the risks of injury when they step into the ring. People who volunteer for a stage hypnosis show are NOT aware that there are any risks and yes there are risks. Most people really don't know what they are getting themselves into when they volunteer.
@philbio66 the audience cheering their competitor wants to see him win. he wins with a knock- out punch. each boxer goes for a knock-out punch. THIS IS DELIBERATELY INFLICTING BRAIN DAMAGE by comparison a comedy hypnotism show is harmless fun. look how muhammod ali ended up.
Really. Though there may be some blood lust, I don't believe most boxing fans want to see a fighter leave with brain damage. What point are you trying to make? Is it OK for a hypnotist to humiliate and degrade another person because boxing is accepted as a sport?

@philbio66 why do millions of people all over the world watch a boxing match?
to watch 2 men trying to inflict brain injury on each other.

Yes, it's obvious that most people attend hypnosis shows because they want to see people publicly embarrass and humiliate themselves.
