David Cameron's first visit to China as Leader of the Opposition included a meeting with the man who was negotiating for the Chinese at the recent United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali.

We're never going to solve the problems of climate change without China being fully engaged and fully involved in the whole process.

April 16 (Bloomberg) -- British Conservative Party leader David Cameron cited uncertainty over China as one of the reasons for Britain to maintain its nuclear deterrent, drawing an instant reprimand from Foreign Minister David Miliband.

  • DAVID CAN YOU REMEMBER WHEN WE USED TO MANUFACTURE GOODS IN THE UK, And NOT import them from China. If my memory serves me well THATCHERS government closed down all UK industries. EVERYTHING you pick up has "Made in China" stamped on it... It had "Made in Britain" stamped on it BEFORE THATCHERS CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT TOOK OVER IN 1979. Other Youtube users may have a short memory... I DONT!

  • or introduce plans to expand Heathrow

British people must be fools to have a "green" prime minister say the labour party is doing the up most to tackle the climate change

    yet carbon emissions is higher?

    and Heathrow expansions are set?

    takes the piss really

  • I hope if you win the next election whenever it is called you tackle the issue of climate change head-on rather than sweep it under the rug like other governments have done.
