@methodistgirl i also crochet and find that when making a prayer shawl using crohet is really easy. i just go by how long i want it to hang. i find a stitch out of many books and create. the harder ones like the triangle shape... i just look for a wrap or scarf design and make it bigger.hope that helps

When will there be another prayer shawl book? Almost all of the

patterns in that book is for knitting. I also crochet. And when I

watch this video I get inspired again to work on another

project and make something to give someone. I don't sell

my work like some people do. I give it to people that I feel

would enjoy what I've made.

This is a great resource for anyone wanting to start a prayer shawl ministry. I read somewhere a crochet version is in the works!  What is the projected release date?

The book was an inspiration to me to knit more for those in need. Especially moving were the book's stories of the lives touched by the prayer shawls, both giver and receiver. Thank you for this post to YouTube.

I finally bought your prayer shawl book. I also have another prayer shawl book published by the Lion Brands yarn people. I did pick up my needles and crochet hook and started while everything was iced over last winter. Making this prayer shawl helped me relax and be entertained. It was one of those granny squares where it grows until you get the right size. Three different pinks. I worked on it from candlelight. Now I have a new ministry. methodistgirl
