Actually, TJ DOES have a varsity team and have had one for at least 10 years. However, last year was the first year that they ever fielded a JV team. The first year for a JV team and they won. That's why it was so exciting. Yes, it was a very small field - but that doesn't affect the ultimate outcome - which is - they beat all of the other teams to win the title.
