Materialism Documentary

This is my final project in my Interactive Media Class in Flash. This version obviously is not interactive at all, but just to get the idea across...

Basically we had to choose a topic that we could sway people's common notions and opinions on. I chose materialism.

Everynow and then we get caught up in materialistic habits, that for some of us, can cause life-changing problems.

I'd like to thank you for putting up this video. Modern society is dominated by materialism. More to the extent now than any spiritual values or that of any imagination. With the dominance of materialism, people tend to (young people especially) look outwards for their emotional and spiritual crisis when really, all we need is within is. This is absolutely true. Imagination is has nearly died these days. Mind and spirit are far more important.

Materialism is the opposite of Idealism. Materialist search for answers in the material world (universe, nature, life, society, matter, energy) instead of imaginary or supernatural things (miracles, legends, spirits, mythology, occultism, religion).

Materialism is the basis of all sciences. History and Sociology, for example, are based on Dialectical and Historical Materialism. Search for this at Google.
