  • You are flat out wrong. Dawkins has a great deal of knowledge as to how radiometric dating works. He explains it at length in his books "The Ancestor's Tale" and "The Blind Watchmaker". I suggest you read up on what he, or any other "real" scientist has to say about the different dating methods before you make ridiculous claims.

  • Lucky for us we don't use carbon dating to date the earth. Carbon dating is only reliable up to about 60,000 years. We use Radiometric dating. But who knows...maybe the ancient holy book you adhere to is more reliable than the overwhelming evidence in geology, biology, cosmology, paleontology, chemistry, astrophysics, geophysics, stratigraphy, and taxonomy.

  • @micah1116 you say you are SURE Richard is lying.

IS THIS TRUE? or are you LYING?

are you christian? i think it is common all christians lie, after all they are to damn SURE about bible statments. an to damn SURE scientists LIE

  • By the way, findings in science can be tested by anyone willing to test them. That is the strength of the scientific method over faith. Faith is believing something without question, without proof & with strong conviction. Whatever your faith it's strictly by word of mouth or text & is untestable. A book saying it's 'God's word' is not evidence of a God, only evidence that someone wrote a book, which by the way you cannot use as a believer anyway because you don't go by proof but by faith.

  • People act as though dating methods can't be believed. They didn't just randomly use it, they tested it over and over, each type, probably 10s of thousands of times to test it's accuracy. These tests gave them a margin of error which was taken into account. They actually use real evidence from multiple sources & numerous scientists around the globe tested it independently. Let's see, should I trust barbaric, uneducated & superstitious sand dwellers or people of logic, reason & understanding? lol

  • @fracturedfist Sorry but I don't think the Flintstones counts as evidence.

  • @micah1116 LMAO I know this post is 1year+ old but I got on heck of a good laugh out of it.

I totally agree anyone claiming carbon dating proves the earth is 4.6B YO is ignorant but not in how it works even a buffoon that can't figure out how it works and don't know math would know it wouldn't work just by looking at the zeros 60,000 vs 4,600,000,000 hmmm it dates up to a 4 zero number but this is a 8 zero number, it probably wouldn't work.

  • @micah1116 Yes there is. It doesn't matter how much you claim it, it doesn't make it true. There is a lot of evidence, and future evidence will only pinpoint the exact age closer and closer. And no scientist has ever used Carbon Dating to test the age of the Earth, Carbon decays far too quickly to test anything that far back.

  • dinosaurs still exist. except they're called birds now. Liberty College = FAIL.

  • @micah1116

    Excellent logic there sir.

If a not equals b, then it follows that b equals a. Right?
