This was AWESOME!!!
I was there that day, a Sunny Sunday noon in Indianapolis, probably not far than 60 ft away from him, very simple guy, and noble, he talked to Wayne before he mounted his beast, they trully respect each other. Kevin Schwantz...
You're a legend!!! a live legend!!!

@SabanTX As of 2012, not even the 125 class will remain :( they are to be replaced by single cylinder 250cc 4 stroke motors, similar to those found on dirt bikes :( bye bye 2 strokes you will be sadly missed. Good job there are plenty of nice 2 stroke road and off road machines to chosse from on the second hand market to satisfy my 2 stroke needs :D

Excuse me, let me ask, this video is that of August 2009? That accelerating RGV Kewin Schwantes is the same? It seems even older, but tell me where these competitions are taking place with two times? And the propaganda of Luck Strike, he is still sponsored by the cigarette brand. Please answer, I'm curious about the permanence of competitions with two times. Grateful. Harold Brazil.

Harold, Thanks for viewing and the comments.
This video was taken when I was in the paddock at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the 2009 MotoGP. Kevin Schwantz brought his old 500cc race bike out of storage, and he took several hot laps prior to the races stating Sunday. Kevin is no longer an active racer (he is still very active in motorcycling), and Lucky Strike no longer sponsors any MotoGP teams. ...

... Starting in 2010 with the introduction of the 4-stroke Moto2 class, two-strokes will only be found in the 125cc class. Hope that helps and thanks again for viewing.
