lol this video is just to show how serious these karts perform. two completely different types of vehicles, obviously. but karts can be pretty crazy- some people say that superkarts are the closest thing to driving an F1 car. drivers can face up to 3 g's

This is shot in front of the Bondurant school of driving next to Firebird raceway in Phoenix. The shifter car wouldn't beat the Z06 on a track like LeMans, but around normal road courses, it is faster. Those guys post much faster lap times than me at Firebird Main course. Of course, they are insane and could die if they made a mistake. I feel much safer inside my car and I drove it home and to work the next day.

It's fair, but means little. Big (safe) car, small track, not "setup" for low speed acceleration, teeny car in its element. Not a surprise. Even a runner can out-accelerate a car for 50ft. Cornering should be about the same (friction function of weight and tires). Enough power on the little car, it can hang. It's like a motorcycle vs. a car. Faster drag, slower corner, but without the slower corner. Worse top end, where real races occur, mileage, endurance? Fatigue? Funny.

im sure it would be fair, its a shifter, the first few gears for accelaration and the remaining for top end... and yea, you race at a "race track" youd see the same result, kart still faster, then have better grip. hands down kart set up correctly

Even on a big track, such as infineon raceway, go-karts still get better lap times then most full sized (street) cars.
The zo6 will have a much higher top speed, but the kart can stay at a constant 90+mph throughout the entire track.
